Working in the healthcare international business for over 15 years. I realized that comparing to standard international business, the medical products has a barrier: Registration. This limited the players from both manufacturers and distributors. Which means unlike toy or common electric products, you can easily find over 10 manufacturers providing a same product or at least similiar model.
Nowadays Chinese supply chain gives great advantage to distributors who is willing to find good product from China. However how to find innovative medical devices from China?
Usually it will take about 3-6 months for a company start to get in touch-sign up contract then enter into registration-marketing the medical devices. During this time, the cost of inspection and operation will cost around 100k-200k USD. However if we don’t be able to find a good product vendor, we lost a good chance.
